F.C. Student Presents Asthma Research at Conference

On July 23, Maggie Cullather, a junior at Falls Church High School, was invited to present the findings of her three-year research project examining the use of music as a treatment of asthma at the Association of Asthma Educators annual conference.

Cullather studied the effect of playing a musical instrument on lung capacity. Attendees at the Denver conference recognized Cullather for her research efforts and engaged her in conversations about her study.

In addition, Cullather’s abstract will be published in the upcoming volume of the Journal of Asthma and Allergy Educators.
