Mad Fox Brewing Company has been in Falls Church just over a year, but it’s already established itself as the place to go to wind down after the 9 to 5.

While most bars and pubs offer the happy hour hook up solely during the work week, Mad Fox goes above and beyond with a seven-day-a-week, 3 – 7 p.m. happy hour hooking patrons up with their award-winning brews at special prices ($2 off the regular $5.50).

No wonder readers voted them the best happy hour in Falls Church.

With a large, welcoming space featuring a 63-foot long bar, pub, dining room and 60-seat outdoor patio, Mad Fox is the perfect destination for those after-work get-togethers, attracting groups from Ballston, Tysons, Bailey’s Crossroads, Merrifield and beyond.

While the City of Falls Church may be called The Little City, Mad Fox founder Bill Madden calls it “The Thirsty City.” Since first opening their doors in July of last year, they’ve brewed over 1,500 barrels of beer (that’s 3,000 kegs) making it one of the larger volume brewpubs in the Mid-Atlantic.

“That’s a lot of beer for a little city,” says Mad Fox’s Rick Garvin, “Falls Church has embraced Mad Fox and we are proud to produce beer that is brewed here with sweet City of Falls Church water.”
