In the capable hands of workers at Massage Envy, Falls Church’s worries are being kneaded away.

The spa, News-Press readers’ pick for best massage, offers many types of massages, as well as facials and hot stone therapy to complete a day of pampering.

The massages – trigger point therapy, Swedish, deep tissue, sports, reflexology and cranial sacral – are customizable, which employee Luisa Rivera sees as key to Massage Envy’s success. Customers can pick how long the massage will be (an hour, an hour and a half, or two hours) and can pick add-ons like aromatherapy and heat treatments to the massage at an additional cost.

The spa session begins by relaxing in the quiet, dimly lit members lounge. After the wait, customers are taken back to one of Massage Envy’s 12 rooms for their treatments.

Massage Envy serves 25,000 members, many of whom come back monthly or every two weeks for their go-to massage. Rivera said the most popular treatment is the deep tissue massage, ideal for relaxing the overworked employees and residents in the area.
