Free NoVa Lawncare Workshops Set for September

Fall lawn care basics will be taught in a free public workshop sponsored by the Arlington Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension with support from Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia next month.

Those taking part can learn how to help their lawns recover from the long, hot summer while protecting the environment.

The first workshop will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1 – 3 p.m. at Arlington Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington.

The second will take place Monday, Sept. 12, from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Duncan Branch Library, 2501 Commonwealth Ave., Alexandria.
