City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for October 11 – 17, 2011

Counterfeiting, 167 Hillwood Ave. (ABC Store) On Oct. 11, an employee reported an unknown suspect paid for merchandise with a counterfeit bill on Oct. 10.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Oct. 12, a victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet from an unsecure area of the locker room sometime on Oct. 6.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Oct. 12, a victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole cash from an unsecure area of the locker room sometime on Oct. 6.

Destruction of Property, 900 S. Washington St. On Oct. 12, a victim reported an unknown suspect(s) broke two glass windows sometime over the weekend.

Public Drunkenness and Drinking In Public, 300 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 12, a male, 49, of Fairfax was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Drinking In Public.

Residential Burglary, 500 block Great Falls St. On Oct. 13, an unknown suspect(s) made entry to the residence and stole various personal items. There were no signs of forced entry.

Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Oct. 13, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 26, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Destruction of Property, 7130 Leesburg Pike (Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School) On Oct. 13, an unknown suspect(s) damaged the rim of a bicycle wheel when left secure at the rear of the building.

Larceny from Building, 230 W. Broad St. (Natalia’s Elegant Creations) On Oct. 13, an unknown suspect stole cash from the tip jar of the restaurant. The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, approximately 5`9″ tall, large overweight girth, and buzz cut hair length.

Public Drunkenness, 301 W. Broad St. On Oct. 14, a female, 50, of the City of Falls Church was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #21 (Hai Lua Restaurant) On Oct. 14, a male, 18, of Annandale, was arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block N. Virginia Ave. On Oct. 15, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 50, of Sterling, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) Oct. 15, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of shoplifting at the location. A male, 43, of Washington, DC; and a male, 43, of Washington, DC, were arrested for Shoplifiting.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Oct. 15, Hai T. Tran, 42, of Alexandria, was arrested for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Urinating In Public, 6619 Wilson Blvd. (New Moon Restaurant) On Oct. 16, a male, 33, of Falls Church, was arrested for Urinating In Public.

Larceny from Vehicle, 1200 block W. Broad St. (West End Plaza) On Oct. 16, an unknown suspect(s) keyed the side of the vehicle and stole a laptop and wallet.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. Westmoreland St. On Oct. 17, an unknown suspect(s) stole golf equipment from the victim’s vehicle.
