‘MiXeD uP’ Show Features Mixed Media by Local Artists

Over 26 artists were represented in the mixed media art show and sale “MiXeD uP,” which is now showing at ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church.

Best in show was awarded to Marc Robarge, IB art teacher at George Mason High School, for his entry “Woodsman.”

Ellie Flaherty won first place for her entry “Tree Memories.”

The show was open to all artists and was juried by Jane Coonce, vice president of the Art League of Alexandria and the Arlington Artists Alliance, and president of the Northern Virginia Alliance League and McLean Arts Society.

The show will be available for viewing through Sunday, Nov. 13.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, from 7 – 10 p.m.
