The Virginia Tech Union programming council has announced its officers for 2012-13, among them Latha Pillai of Falls Church.
Pillai has been named the director of Public Relations. Pillai is a junior majoring in communications in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech.
The officers are responsible for planning concerts, films, speakers, the Lively Arts series, and many other performances and activities that take place at Virginia Tech.
