Properly bundled brush from the severe thunderstorm on Saturday, September 8 will be collected on Wednesday, September 12. Unbundled brush will be collected only through the fee-based Special Collection process.

To bundle for free Wednesday collection, tie with string or twine. Brush should not exceed five feet in length and no individual branch diameter should exceed six inches. Each bundle must weigh less than 50 pounds.

For Special Collection of unbundled brush, call the Solid Waste Hotline at 703-248-5160, option 4, by noon on Tuesday, September 11. Special Collection of brush is $75 per every two cubic yards of brush at the curb.

Brush that is not properly prepared or registered for a Special Collection will not be picked-up.
