McLean Players Invite Essays for Contest

In connection with its fall performance of A.R. Gurney’s “What I Did Last Summer,” the McLean Community Players is sponsoring the “Last Summer … ” essay contest for local high school students, ages 15 – 18.

Evaluated by a panel of impartial judges, the top three essays will be displayed in the Alden Theatre lobby during the show’s run. The award-winning student will be announced at the show’s final performance and receive a $200 cash prize. Completed essays are due by Oct. 15 at 5 p.m.
