Brick Breakers Lego Team Wins Robot Design Award

Competing in the First Lego League tournament held at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria last Saturday, the Brick Breakers team won the Robot Design award for Division II and placed as the alternate for the state competition.

Team members are shown above with their winning robot design and attachments (held by some of the team members). In addition to competing in robotics, the team also invented a device to help senior citizens with Parkinson’s disease improve their posture and prevent falls.
