Rec & Parks Board to Discuss Lincoln Park Plans Dec. 5

City of Falls Church residents are invited to attend the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board meeting on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., to review plans for new playground equipment at Lincoln Park.

The Recreation and Parks Department expects the project to be completed by the end of Spring 2013.

Damaged equipment at the park’s playground has been taped off since early August, when a car driving by lost control and hit some of the playground equipment.

Residents may review the design plans at the Community Center office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The office is closed on Nov. 22 and 23 for Thanksgiving and is not open on the weekend.

For more information, contact the Recreation and Parks Department at 703-248-5027.
