Water Main Break at Mount Daniel School Prompts Early Dismissal

UPDATE: Due to a water main break on campus, Mount Daniel School was dismissed at 10:30 a.m. today.

Buses ran at 10:30 a.m. Students were only dropped off if someone was waiting on the student at the stop. At this time, all students who rode a bus home have been dropped off. All students who did not ride the bus and have not been picked up are in the Mount Daniel office. School employees  are trying to contact their families. Students whose families cannot be reached will be transported to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School for lunch and will remain there until this afternoon.

Day Care students already have been relocated to Thomas Jefferson Elementary by bus.

An announcement has not yet been made regarding whether or not Mount Daniel will be open tomorrow.
