Several City of Falls Church offices and services will close or operate on adjusted schedules for the coming winter holidays.
City of Falls Church administrative offices and services, including DMV Select in City Hall, and Mary Riley Styles Public Library and Courts will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 – 25 and Dec. 31 – Jan. 1.
The Community Center will operate under a revised schedule. It will be open 8:30 a.m. – noon on Monday, Dec. 24; closed Tuesday, Dec. 25; open 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31; and closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, except for the Taste of Class fair from 3 – 6 p.m.
Trash and recycling collection will go on as scheduled on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and Wednesday, Jan. 2; the Public Works Department recommends setting trash and recycling out by 7 a.m. at the latest on collection days.
