Support Staff Award Nominees from F.C. Schools Announced

Four Falls Church City Public Schools employees have been nominated for the 2013 Support Staff Employee of the Year Award. Superintendent Toni Jones and other school division leaders surprised each nominee with balloons and a copy of their nomination letters.

This year’s nominees are Sara Blake, Central Office payroll specialist; José Fuentes, building technician at George Mason High School; Mario Londono, supervisor and night custodian at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School; and Tish Pugh, administrative assistant to the principal at MEHMS.

The FCCPS Support Staff of the Year Award was established in 2005 to recognize exemplary service to schools.

The nominees for this award and the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award will be recognized at a reception and ceremony in May at MEHMS.
