McLean High Student to Study Food Scarcity with State Dept.

Dana Mulligan, sophomore at McLean High School, earned one of 18 nationwide spots to join the U.S. State Department-sponsored high school leadership program, BoldLeaders American Youth Leadership Program, which includes travel to Uganda for three weeks this summer.

The year-long project focuses on leadership, community engagement, civic discourse, and social entrepreneurship around the theme of food scarcity.
