Comedian Demetri Martin to Give Talk at One More Page

One More Page Books, an independent bookstore in Arlington, will host an author talk and book signing with bestselling writer and comedian Demetri Martin next Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. This event is open to the public and admission is free.

Martin will discuss and sign Point Your Face at This: Drawings, to be released March 19, 2013. A follow-up to the New York Times bestseller, This is a Book, Martin’s new eclectic work is devoted entirely to his trademark drawings and word play and contains hundreds of hilarious drawings and visual jokes, showcasing Martin’s penchant for brevity.

Demetri Martin is a comedian, actor, artist, musician, humorist and writer. He started doing stand-up comedy in New York City at the end of the 1990s and became a writer at “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and then a regular performer on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Martin created and starred in his own television show, “Important Things with Demetri Martin,” on Comedy Central.
