Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciarleglio, formerly of Fredericksburg, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lina Nicole Ciarleglio of Falls Church, to Geoffrey Scott Schaab of Falls Church.
Lina graduated from James Madison University in 2003 and moved to the area to pursue a career. She is currently an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Geoffrey graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2003 as well, and is currently a sanctions investigator with the U.S. Department of Treasury.
The couple met last March at the First Thursday Adventure Run sponsored by Road Runner Sports in downtown Falls Church. Both are avid runners and quickly hit it off. Lina and Geoff ran the 2012 Rock & Roll USA Half Marathon together, and continue to enjoy running the beautiful Virginia landscape. In addition, they are both wine enthusiasts.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 11, 2013 at the Belmont Country Club in Ashburn.
