Langley’s Aimee Cho Named VHSL Journalist of the Year

Aimee Cho, a senior at McLean’s Langley High School and editor-in-chief of saxonscope.com, has been named the Virginia High School League’s 2013 Student Journalist of the Year and Charles Savedge Scholarship recipient.

Cho was the unanimous choice of the selection committee. She has been involved with high school journalism since her sophomore year in high school, when she became responsible for web content and 40 reporters as the online editor of Saxon Scope, the Langley High student newspaper.

Cho maintains a 4.28 grade point average and plans to attend Cornell University to study journalism.
