Falls Church-based Digital Design and Imaging Service has been selected by the Washington, D.C. Office of Planning to produce aerial visualizations for a Building Height Study of the District, the Office of D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray announced Tuesday. The study will explore the impact of strategic changes to the federal height limits in D.C. first instituted in 1910.

The Falls Church company, owned by Curt Westergard, will participate in the Master Plan Modeling Analysis led by the architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Final decisions on altering the building height limit in D.C. will be up to the U.S. Congress.
