Transgender Fashion Show with Kristin Beck to Raise Funds for NOVASalud

Kristin Beck, U.S. Navy SEAL (Ret.), formerly known as Chris Beck, will serve as Honorary Mistress of Ceremonies for NOVASalud’s inaugural Extravaganza For Life event this weekend.

The Extravaganza For Life: Breaking the Cycle of Stigma transgender fashion show will be held at V3 Lounge in Falls Church this Saturday, July 20, from 6 – 10 p.m., to raise funds to benefit NOVASalud’s work in Northern Virginia.

NOVASalud offers free HIV testing at its office in Arlington and in multiple locations throughout Northern Virginia, as well as support groups for men who love men and transgendered persons.

Extravaganza for Life will showcase the work of three designers – Jenny Saint Cartier, Juan Jose Saenz, and Stella Bonds – through live fashion shows.

Beck, who grew up in and attended school in Northern Virginia, will be available wearing a Juan Jose Saenz gown to meet guests, pose for photos, and give autographs. Tickets are $15. For more information, visit transfashion.eventbrite.com.
