The collection event will be held from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the City’s Recycling Center, located at 217 Gordon Road near the intersection of Shreve Road and Broad Street. This will be a drive-through event; residents are asked to remain in their vehicles. Materials will be handled by the licensed contractor CleanHarbors.
City residents (with proof of residency) may drop off items including acids, antifreeze, bug sprays, button batteries, rechargeable batteries, gasoline, compact or tube fluorescent bulbs, floor care products, mercury products, motor oil, oil-based paint and stain, oven cleaner, paint thinner, pesticides, poisons, pool chemicals, rug cleaners, and solvent-based glue.
