Comedic Singer Seamus Kennedy to Play Folklore Society Concert

Folk singer and comedian Seamus Kennedy will play a Folklore Society of Greater Washington concert next month at Knox Presbyterian Church.

Concert-goers will hear Kennedy’s hilarious and family-friendly repertoire of Irish, Scottish, and American songs, stories, and tongue twisters. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Kennedy honed his craft over 37 years of performing in America and Great Britain. Members of the Washington Area Music Association have voted Seamus “Best Irish Male Vocalist” several times.

The concert will take place Saturday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. Knox Presbyterian Church is located at 7416 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church. Admission is free to FSGW members, and $15 for non-members. For more information, visit fsgw.org.
