A group of George Mason High School students recently organized a fundraiser that netted more than $1,100 for Super Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts in the Philippines.

Students served food from Romano’s Macaroni Grill along with traditional Filipino food to diners.

The funds raised will go to Save the Children Foundation for its work helping families recover from Super Typhoon Haiyan.
