Spree of Car Break-Ins Hits Falls Church

DocumentAt least 16 cars were broken into or tampered with over the weekend in the City of Falls Church causing City police to issue an alert urging residents to take precautionary measures to keep their cars and property safe. Police say the incidents – which included larceny, tampering with autos and car theft – involved mostly unlocked vehicles in the West End area of Falls Church.

This latest report of vehicle tampering comes just two weeks after the City’s crime report included details of five other car break-ins on Grove Ave., Parker St., Polar Dr. and at the Stratford Motor Lodge.

The News-Press has reached out to City Police for further information and details on the latest incidents.
