Don Beyer officially kicked off his campaign for the 8th district’s congressional seat with an ice cream social today at north Arlington’s Quincy Park today. A number of Beyer’s Falls Church supporters were among those in attendance. The event was held with 80 days to go to the November election.

Dog in Quarantine; Bitten Boy is OK

Falls Church Police located a dog yesterday who reportedly bit a person in the 100 block of N. Virginia Ave, Tuesday, and it has been placed in routine quarantine, according to the City’s Public information Office. Meanwhile, the young man who was bitten is reported in excellent condition.
