Democratic Attorney General candidate Mark Herring and Democratic Lieutenant Governor candidate Aneesh Chopra won the straw polls among 850 votes Sunday at U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly’s annual St. Patrick’s Day fundraising event. Both face challenges in their party’s upcoming June 11 primary.
