Authors of two new business oriented books will present and participate in book signings at the Greater Falls Church Business Expo on November 4, 2006 at the Falls Church Community Center. Paint your own pottery studio owner Adeena Mignogna will read from and sign her book Cute Little Store: Between Entrepreneurial Dream and Business Reality after which former Associated Press chief White House correspondent Ron Fournier will present and sign his new book, Applebee’s America: How Successful Political, Business, and Religious Leaders Connect with the New American Community. ManTech International Corporation announced that it has completed the acquisition of GRS Solutions, Inc. (GRS), a rapidly growing provider of specialized technical, operational, and analytical services to the intelligence community. ManTech will acquire all of the outstanding shares of GRS, and the transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to ManTech’s earnings per share. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, and founded in 1998, GRS is a privately held, specialized company providing analysis, technical management, program development, and program implementation services supporting the counterterrorism/ counterintelligence mission around the world. More than 90 percent of GRS’ employees have high-level clearances. The company generated annual revenues for its fiscal year ended September 30, 2006 in excess of $10 million with robust operating margins.
