Marshall Boys Hoops Snap Skid vs. Jefferson

The Statesmen broke their six-game losing streak with a 44-33 win over the Colonials of Thomas Jefferson. The win also provided Marshall Head Coach Kevin Weeren with his 100th career victory. He had been stuck at 99 since Jan. 5, when the Statesmen last faced and defeated Jefferson.

Qaiser Ahmed and Nate Whittington led Marshall with 16 and 13 points respectively.

Marshall will look to continue their good fortune when they return to action Friday at Stone Bridge.
