A Plethora of Outstanding Films at Movie Houses All Over the Place.

It’s always around this time of the year that there seems to be an abundance of excellent films in theatres, but this year takes the cake. I don’t pretend to have seen them all, myself, but I’ve read up on them plenty. My life normally leaves me with too little time for nights at the cinema, which is why I can often be found at midnight showings on weekends. So after my research, here’s what I commend as the best in theaters right now (not necessarily in order): 1. No Country for Old Men, 2. Charlie Wilson’s War, 3. There Will Be Blood, 4. Atonement, 5. Juno, 6. The Orphanage. Here’s my second tier of very good: 1. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, 2. Kite Runner, 3. The Great Debaters. Overrated: 1. The Bucket List, 2. Sweeney Todd.
