Jody’s Jam of The Week

D.C. Restaurant Week, January 14 – 20 at Participating Restaurants

Are your bellies ready? They better be in tip-top shape, for Monday marks the beginning of the first Washington, D.C. Restaurant Week of 2008. Just as you’re recovering from all the gluttonous holiday activity, D.C.’s top restaurants are giving you reason to keep those pants let out and put off New Year resolutions for just one more week. For those that haven’t been keeping up, Restaurant Week gives you a chance to dine at some of the D.C. area’s choicest eateries while saving some dough, offering up three-course lunches for $20.08 and dinners for $30.08. And these restaurants aren’t your average dives either. Six participating restaurants finished in the top 20 of Washingtonian’s annual 100 best restaurant list, including two in the top 10 (Vidalia and Kinkead’s). The gym and Jenny Craig can wait. Your belly is calling.
