The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is accepting nominations through January 15 for its Annual Muse Awards. The awards, which champion creativity and innovation in business acumen, are granted each year to nine Virginia companies that demonstrate a uniquely creative approach to their products, services, campaigns, organizational structure, and/or other corporate aspect. Created in 2005, the Muse Awards are sponsored by VMFA's Business Council, an association of business executives who promote and maintain a dialogue between the business community and the VMFA. Seventy businesses were nominated for the 2007 Muse Awards, and 18 were selected as finalists. Intrinergy LLC received the Top Muse award in recognition of extraordinary creativity in its renewable energy processing. CSI-Capitol Services, Inc., a destination management and special event service provider, has been named a finalist for Best Innovative Event in its budget category by the Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME).
