In a series of six unanimous votes, the City Council gave final approval to the $317 million, nine-acre City Center development project that involves a unique and complex set of agreements between Atlantic Realty Company, the Falls Church Economic Development Authority and the City of Falls Church. The developers anticipate that ground could be broken on phase one of the project by summer. The Council deliberated until after midnight before completing its votes last night.
