Christopher Bergin, president and publisher of Tax Analysts, participated in the 125th edition of Columbia Business School’s intensive month long Senior Executive Program (CSEP) designed to help business leaders “maximize their leadership potential within their organizations.”
CSEP helps participants to better provide strategic direction and bring needed change to their organizations, to maximize the performance of individuals and teams, and to use communications skills more effectively in the performance of their jobs. Bergin has served in his current capacity at Tax Analysts since 1991. Previously, he was editor of Tax Notes magazine, the nonprofit’s flagship publication, for eight years and has run other Tax Analysts publications. The nonprofit provider of federal, state and international tax news and analysis is the second largest employer in Falls Church where it has been located since 1981. Fast Track Physical Therapy & Sports Performance has opened in Falls Church. Located in the Vantage Fitness gym facility on the 2nd Floor of 402 W. Broad Street, Fast Track provides comprehensive physical therapy and sport performance services, specifically for the athletic population. Fast Track was founded and is operated by Kerri Kramer, MSPT who is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) pursuing her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) and Manual Therapy Certification (MTC). Ireland’s Four Provinces is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all day long on Tues, March 17. The festivities start with “Kegs & Eggs”, featuring their well-known Irish Fry and their American Breakfast, starting at 8am in the bar area. The celebration will continue with both lunch and dinner specials including Corned Beef & Cabbage, Irish Stew, Cottage Pie, Whiskey Chicken Tullamore, Salmon Kilkenny and Fish & Chips. Falls Church Arts and Creative Cauldron are hosting a Business Open Forum on Mon, March 23 from 7-9 p.m. to discuss the economic impact of the arts and the performing and visual arts space soon to be constructed at Pearson Square (410 S. Maple Avenue) in Falls Church. Laura Hull, founder/director of Creative Cauldron and Jim Lynch, president of FC Arts, will review ways in which the business and arts communities can work together to maximize the economic opportunities.
