THE EDEN CENTER hosted the second annual Trung Thu Moon Festival last Saturday, Oct. 3. The 2009 Miss Eden crown was given to Nhien Pho, famously known for her appearance with outstretched arms on the press posters for the traveling Smithsonian exhibit, “Exit Saigon, Enter Little Saigon.” Miss D.C. 2009, Joy Hodges , served as a judge for the Miss Eden pageant. Ken Norris, better known as “Ken the Magician,” made balloon animals for the young and young at heart during this local celebration of Asian-American culture, featuring a Lion Dance, children’s art contest and much more.
