The Red Sox made a comeback, spurred by Ted Terwilliger’s home run, but Ferguson closed the game by retiring the one batter she faced, with two runners on base and the tying run on deck.

A’s 16 – Red Sox 12

Ten days after their battle was suspended due to a time limit, the A’s and Sox finished their game. 10 A’s recorded hits, including Logan Nesson, who was five for five at the plate; Annie Ferguson, Bryan Martin and Michael Parella added three hits each. The Red Sox made a comeback, spurred by Ted Terwilliger’s home run, but Ferguson closed the game by retiring the one batter she faced, with two runners on base and the tying run on deck.

Cubs 6 – Red Sox 3

The Cubs were sparked by hits from Thomas Beddow, Daniel Schlitt, Johnny Peterson, Nathan Payne, and Lou Lindsay. For the Sox, Philip Taylor had two hits and Ted Terwilliger doubled off the fence and blasted a long home run.

Orioles 18 – A’s 0

The Orioles’ offense was led by Marsden Davis (who scored five runs), Josh Rankin (who hit safely five times) and John Anderson (whose four hits included a homer and two doubles).

Orioles 20 – Red Sox 3

Jake Abruzzi led the Orioles with three doubles.

A’s 20 – Nationals 19

In a marathon featuring nine lead changes and nine pitchers, 10 A’s contributed hits. Logan Nesson blasted two homers, and Zach Welch added three singles and a triple.

Mets 11 – Angels 5

The Mets broke a 4–4 tie in the fifth via hits by Ahmet Dalgic and Ryan Barrett and wrapped up their scoring in the sixth thanks to hits by Thomas Dean, Josh Barker and Neil Menon.

Pirates 3  –  Mets 1

Pirates’ pitcher Liam Strobel was on fire, stifling the Mets’ during his five and two thirds innings. Mets’ pitcher Jack Goggin held the Pirates at bay for four innings.

Marlins 11 – Dodgers 9

Trailing 11-1 in the fourth, the Dodgers rallied for two runs, then six more in the fifth, before reliever Christina Savory saved the game for the Marlins.

Express 4 – Knights 1

For the Express, Jack Taylor, Marty Casserly and Sela Scheinman each went two for two, as did Peter Villa and Caleb Taliaferra for the Knights.

Bats 13 – Ironbirds 5

Bats Joseph Cantaino, Alek Autor and Bautista Guerrero went three for three.

Rattlers 16 – Bats 13

Ben Shannon, Rixon Webb and Jack Brown led the Rattlers with three hits apiece. William Izedpski also had three hits, and drove in four runs. The Bats were led by Prescott Starke, who went four for four, and Andrew Donnellan, who contributed three hits.

Bees 9 – Muck Dogs 6

Atticus Jacobs went two for two for the Bees; Charlie Tucker went two for two and Connor Carlson went three for three for the Dogs.

Bees 11 – Express 10

Audrey Lindsay’s double tied the game, and Elise Ebert’s base hit in the final inning won it for the Bees, who rallied from a 10-s4 deficit.

Raptors 16 – Red Wings 14

The Red Wings scored five runs in the last inning, but couldn’t rally for the win. Gabriel Rike belted a triple to the fence.

Rattlers 15 – Red Wings 2

Caleb Parnell let the Rattlers’ hitters, going three for three with two doubles, and Andrew Milhorn, Curran Gilster and Jason Harrington all contributed three hits each.
