Hannah Walker scored three goals for the Mason girls, and Leah Roth scored twice. Maggie Mascarenhas and Elle Silverman also tallied for the Mustangs, who out-shot the Indians 48-0.
In the boys game, the Mustangs controlled the ball most of the way, but were only able to get on the board via an Andrew Arias penalty kick around the 50th minute and a late Teddy Rueckert tally off a slick Nick Smirniotopoulos pass.
Both Mason squads will now head to Radford for state semifinal games on Friday. The girls are scheduled to take on Gate City at 10 a.m., while the boys will take on an opponent still to-be-determined, with an expected 2 p.m. start.
