Donations Sought for 2011 F.C. Fireworks Show

Following the latest annual July 4 fireworks show sponsored by the Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department on the campus of George Mason High School Sunday night, City officials are encouraging private citizens to donate to the Rec and Parks “Special Events Fund,” in hopes of keeping that and other programs alive which have been cut out of the coming year’s City budget. Checks made payable to the “Recreation and Parks Special Events Fund” can be mailed or delivered to 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church, VA 22046.
