Former F.C. Tennis Instructor, Ron McDonald, Dies

Ronald E. McDonald, a former tennis instructor with the Falls Church Department of Recreation and Parks and a familiar fixture on the tennis courts with many Falls Church and Northern Virginia residents, died on July 20, 2010.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Levine and the late Larry McDonald. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Mac and Trenton Glore, Erin Watts and Wes and Brian McDonald and his longtime companion, Brenda Hurst.

Services were held on July 24 in Arlington with interment at the National Memorial Park in Falls Church.
