F.C. Council Votes 3-2 to Remove $2 Million from Budget for Affordable Housing

Following the failure of the Wilden Affordable Housing project last month, tonight the Falls Church City Council voted 3-2 to remove $2 million designated for affordable housing in the City’s current fiscal year budget. Mayor Nader Baroukh was joined by Councilmen Ira Kayin and Johannah Berry in voting to defund affordable housing, while Council members David Snyder and Robin Gardner voted to keep it in.
