F.C. Author to Speak on WWII Survival at Forum

Falls Church author of “Guerilla Daughter,” Virginia Hansen Holmes, will share her family’s story of being caught up in the Japanese-held Philippine Islands, and how they eluded, fought and survived for three years during WWII next Friday, Sept. 24 at the Falls Church Military History Forum.

Falls Church author of “Guerilla Daughter,” Virginia Hansen Holmes, will share her family’s story of being caught up in the Japanese-held Philippine Islands, and how they eluded, fought and survived for three years during WWII next Friday, Sept. 24 at the Falls Church Military History Forum, it was announced Tuesday. The free event will be held at the Falls Church Community Center (223 Little Falls St., Falls Church) from 10 a.m. – noon that Friday.
