FIRSTfriday comes into full swing this Oct. 1, with activities ranging from live music, art shows and more.

ArtALot (111 Park Ave., Falls Church) will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. Daniel Kyriades will perform while Cruise-In Friday sponsors will welcome flashback wheels for its monthly car show and contest. A “Doggie Yappie Hour” and art from Denise Philipbar, Michael Snell, Hazel Brutsche, James Oglethorpe, Mary Benzinger, Virginia Fine Writing Instruments, Bev Rocco, Justine Spilman, Nan Stringer and others will ensue.

Curves (240 W. Broad St., Falls Church) will feature an art exhibit by Pamela Callen, with work reflecting the beauty of landscapes and wildlife on the Chesapeake Bay from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Finally, Sacred Well Yoga Studio (450 West Broad St. Ste. 320, Falls Church) brings back its charity yoga nights with a pay-what-you-can class from 6 – 7:15 p.m. All of the donations go to local charities, and the Charity changes monthly. The suggested donation is $10, but attendees are able to pay what they’d like.
