Mason High’s Scholastic Team Unbeaten

The George Mason High School Scholastic Bowl team extended its unbeaten record to 8-0 Monday night, as they added three more overwhelming victories against Bull Run rivals in a meet at Manassas Park.

The Mustangs opened the meet with a 305-110 beating of Strasburg, followed by an even bigger 285 point margin over Rappahannock, 345-60, before capping off the night’s domination with a huge 310 point swamping of Madison County, matching the team’s season-high point total with a final score of 375-65. The team was once again led in scoring by senior captain Asher Morse, who in each of the three matches got more tossups than the entire opposing team.
