Falls Church City residents are needed to volunteer to serve on boards and commissions.

Boards seeking volunteers are the Architectural Advisory Board, Citizens’ Advisory Committee on Transportation, Environmental Services Council, Board of Equalization, Girls’ Home Advisory Board, Historic Architectural Review Board, Historical Commission, Housing Commission, Library Board of Trustees, Local Board of Building Code Appeals, Other Post-Employee Benefits Finance Board, Planning Commission, Private School & Day Care Facility Board, Recreation and Parks Advisory Board and Board of Zoning Appeals.

Regional boards and commissions needing volunteers are the Fairfax Area Commission on Aging, Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, Fairfax Partnership for Youth, Health Systems Agency of Northern Virginia and Workforce Investment Board.

Contact the City Clerk’s Office (703-248-5014, cityclerk@fallschurchva.gov or www.fallschurchva.gov) for an application form or more information. Requests for reappointments must also be made through the City Clerk. Applications are being accepted until the end of April.
