F.C. Resident Reports Potential Child Abduction

A City of Falls Church resident of Rosemary Lane told the F.C. City Council Monday that her nine-year old son was subjected to a potential abduction by a woman in a car in her neighborhood on Saturday, May 7, around 4 p.m.

She noted that there has been word of more such incidents in the area, but that no arrests have been made. She said she was puzzled by why her report to F.C. police was not included in a published police report. According to the City’s Office of Communications, upon meeting with the citizen, efforts will be made to include more “suspicious incidents” in the police report, and that a police neighborhood safety forum on “stranger danger” is being set for the near future.
