F.C. City Hosts 19th Annual Holiday Craft Show Dec. 3-4

More than 60 crafters will take over both floors of the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., to sell unique handmade items and baked goods from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, and from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 for the 19th annual Holiday Craft Show.

An all-weekend shopping pass is $1 per person, ages 12 and older; admission is free for children under age 12. Lunch is available for purchase both days.

Children are invited to special holiday activities. Saturday, Dec. 3 activities include breakfast with Santa from 9-10:30 a.m.; holiday crafts from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; and a performance by the Great Zucchini from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Saturday also features a performance by students from the George Mason High School Chamber Singers.

On Sunday, Dec. 4, there will be a performance by The Banjo Man Frank Cassel from 1-2 p.m. and a puppet show is scheduled from 2:30 – 3 p.m.

Reservations and pre-payment is required for Breakfast with Santa ($5), The Great Zucchini ($5), The Banjo Man ($5) and the puppet show ($5). Reservations and payment can be made by calling 703-248-5027 or visiting fallschurchva.gov/RecRegistration. The children’s craft room is free with admission.

The Cherry Hill Farmhouse, 312 Park Ave., will host a holiday shop on Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Volunteers will help children purchase and wrap inexpensive gifts ($5 and under) for friends and family. For more information, call 703-248-5171.
