City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for February 21 – 27, 2012

Drinking in Public, 200 block S. Washington St. On Feb. 21, a male, 44, no fixed address, was arrested for Drinking in Public.

Vehicle Tampering, 800 block Fulton Ave. On Feb. 22, 8:01 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) opened an unlocked door. No items were taken.

Vehicle Tampering, 200 block S. Oak St. On Feb. 23, an unknown suspect(s) opened an unlocked door and rummaged through several items. No items were taken.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 block S. Lee St. On Feb. 23, an unknown suspect(s) stole loose change from an unlocked vehicle.

Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gio) On Feb. 23, an officer observed a male, 44, of Houston, TX, smoking tobacco products in the building. The suspect was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Feb. 23, a female, 49, of Falls Church, was arrested for Panhandling.

Driving Under the Influence, 6600 block Wilson Blvd. On Feb. 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male 40, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 300 block W. Broad St. On Feb. 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 43, of Ashburn, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Public Drunkenness 100 block W. Broad St. On Feb. 24, a male, 32, of Springfield, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 400 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Feb. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 25, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 300 block S. Washington St. On Feb. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 27, of Herndon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from Vehicle, 201 Hillwood Ave. (United Imports) On Feb. 25, the business reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a motor vehicle dealer tag sometime after Feb. 15.

Graffiti, 105 N. Washington St. (Clare and Don’s Beach Shack) On Feb. 25, the business reported an unknown suspect(s) vandalized the men’s bathroom with graffiti.

Public Drunkenness 220 N. Washington St. (State Theater) On Feb. 25, a male, 36, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Possession of False ID and Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Feb. 27, a male, 23, of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of False ID and Public Drunkenness.
