With this edition, the Falls Church News-Press enters into its 22nd year of consecutive weekly publication, founder-owner-editor Nicholas F. Benton announced this week. There have been 1,083 weekly editions and Benton has written most of the news content, and every editorial, for all those editions since 1991. Executive Editor Jody Fellows began working part-time in 1996 and has been in his current full-time post since 2001.
This October, the News-Press’s parent company, Benton Communications, will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
