City ‘Ped/Bike Plan’ Available for Public Comment

The public is invited to comment on the proposed Pedestrian, Bicycle and Traffic Calming Strategic Implementation Plan (“Ped/Bike Plan”), available on the City’s website (fallschurchva.gov/pedplan), at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library (120 N. Virginia Ave.), and at the offices of Development Services in City Hall (300 Park Ave., Ste. 300 West). A community forum will be held on April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the City’s Community Center (223 Little Falls St.) where attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback. The Council’s adoption of the final plan is scheduled for May 29, 2012.

Projects proposed in the plan seek to create a new look and feel for the City by making walking and bicycling visible, safe, and enjoyable alternatives to automobile travel.
