F.C. High Senior Earns JMU Scholarship for Orchestra

Rachel Aderoju, senior at Falls Church High School, has been playing the viola for years. Her years of practice, rehearsals, and lessons have yielded performance abilities that have now been recognized at the collegiate level. Aderoju has been accepted at James Madison University and has received a scholarship to continue playing in the orchestra while a student there.

Earlier this year it was announced that Aderoju was awarded the National Scholastic Arts and Letters Merit of Music Award. She has been recognized by her peers and was elected as the orchestra president her senior year. Her character was also recognized as she was asked to be a part of the Honor Council at FCHS.
