F.C. Centenarian Celebrates Birthday with Bridge Club

DSC 0392Jack Foster celebrated his 100th birthday last Friday by doing what he does most Friday mornings – driving to the Falls Church Community Center for the weekly meeting of the Falls Church bridge club. It was a packed house last Friday, as nearly 30 people came to play bridge, enjoy refreshments, and wish Foster a happy birthday.

The longtime Pimmit area resident has been playing bridge with the group for more than 10 years, and many gathered at the event praised his keen bridge-playing abilities. (Photo: News-Press)
